Privacy Policy

Exposensia LLC ("Exposensia", "we", "our") operates the Exposensia mobile application (the "App") for iOS and Android. This policy explains what information the App accesses, what it does with that information, and what it does not do.

The short version: the App does not collect personal data, does not require an account, and does not send any information off your device. Everything stays local.

1. Information the App accesses

The App reads data from Exposensia sensors (Tempest 100, Tempest 200, Yotta) using your device's NFC (Near Field Communication) hardware. The sensor data includes environmental measurements such as temperature, relative humidity, irradiance, and cumulative exposure values recorded by the sensor.

The App may optionally access:

• Camera — only if you choose to attach a floor-plan or reference image to a group. The App does not scan QR codes, identify faces, or process images in any other way.
• Location — only if you explicitly choose to attach a location label to a reading or group. The App does not track your location passively or in the background.

All permissions are requested at the time they are needed and only for the specific action you initiate. You can decline any permission and continue using all other features of the App.

2. How your data is stored

Sensor readings, groups, and any notes or labels you add are stored locally on your device using the operating system's standard app storage. This data does not leave your device unless you explicitly export or share it.

We do not operate any servers that receive, store, or process your sensor data. There is no Exposensia account, no cloud sync, and no telemetry sent back to us.

3. Sharing and export

When you use the App's export or share features, you are in control of where your data goes:

• CSV or PDF export — generates a file on your device that you can save or share using your device's standard share sheet. The destination is your choice.
• Device-to-device transfer — sends data directly to another nearby device using a local, peer-to-peer connection. No intermediary server is involved.

Exposensia does not receive a copy of any exported or shared data.

4. Analytics and crash reporting

The App does not include third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or behaviour tracking of any kind. If the App crashes, your device's operating system may generate a crash report according to your OS-level privacy settings (managed by Apple or Google, not by us).

5. Children

The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.

6. Changes to this policy

If we update this policy in a way that affects how the App handles information, we will update the effective date above and, where required by applicable law, notify users through the App or the App Store listing. Because the App collects no personal data, material changes are unlikely.
