Exposensia Tempest 100 temperature dataloggers are low-cost, robust, waterproof, compact, and easy-to-use sensing solutions that help you solve your most challenging temperature monitoring needs. They are perfect for monitoring goods in transport, storage, and throughout their lifecycle.
Set up and check data on Tempest 100 easily and quickly using our free smartphone apps. No pairing, no cables, no laptops, and no cradles needed. All data can be downloaded in a few seconds, or query just the cumulative exposure, max/min temperature, MKT, and alarms status nearly instantly.
Tempest 100 supports a wide temperature range of -40 to 185°F and has a typical battery life of >10 years, enabling it to be installed nearly anywhere for long-term monitoring.
Tempest 100 is highly configurable. Users can set up individual serial numbers and text descriptions on each unit, so that exported logs are easily identifiable. Data can be recorded with intervals from 2 minutes to 12 hours. Data recording can begin immediately, at a specific date and time, or once the temperature rises or falls beyond a threshold. Recording can be configured to stop when the memory is full, after a certain number of datapoints are recorded, at a configured date and time, or Tempest 100 can be set up to overwrite the oldest data once full.
How do I install Tempest 100?
Tempest 100 can be installed in many ways. The hang tag can be used to hang it. Double-stick adhesives can be used to mount it. Care must be taken to ensure a smartphone can be held against it to query the data. Care must also be taken to ensure data accuracy — if Tempest 100 is exposed to sunlight, it will heat up beyond ambient.
How do I get the data from Tempest 100?
The data on Tempest 100 is accessed over NFC (Near Field Communication), the same technology used in tap-to-pay. Our free smartphone apps are used to configure Tempest 100 and to query all data stored on it. We value your privacy, and the data is not stored in the cloud. Exposensia has no access to your data.
How do I configure Tempest 100?
Tempest 100 is configured using our free smartphone apps. Search for them on the Google Play Store (coming soon to the Apple App Store).
